Blog 11: Mentorship 10 hours Check

1.   Where are you doing your mentorship?

•  I am doing my mentorship hours at my mentor's salon in Rialto. It's a little far but I like the way she works.

2.   Who is your contact?

• My contact is Adriana Solis.

3.   How many total hours have you done?   

• I have recently done 13 hours but I have 25 hours total.

4.   Summarize the 10 hours of service you did.

• I have mostly been observing my mentor and her workers cut and dye the hair of their clients. I have also gotten lessons on how to cut men's hair and how to use the razor, but I didn't actually handle it. I also cut my first "client's" hair. I was my sister who wanted the hair cut, but my mentor let me do it. Of course, she supervised and corrected me at times but I was able to cut her hair on my own.
